Case: Shaped plastic in brass framework, brass base
Size: 10 inches high x 8 inches wide .
Dial diameter approx 4 inches.
Movement: Battery electronic. Pendulum has strong magnet in the bob. Two coils, a driver and a sensor coil, are positioned under the pendulum when at rest. If swung the pendulum causes a pulse in the sensor coil as it approaches centre. This triggers a transistor which switches on the drive coil briefly, repelling the pendulum. It runs from a 1.5 volt battery, originally a long rectangular type, but will run equally well from an AAA cell
