This clock was formerly owned by N D. and was sold on Ebay in 2003. I do not have this clock available for study, just the pictures. This master clock was made for use in a ship so has a platform escapement instead of a pendulum.

There are also features to enable the easy advance and retard of the time displayed as the ship travels from one time zone to another

A very collectable item. These are not often seen, though large nunbers must have been fitted in various ships, particularly cruise ships with their numerous repeater dials around the public accommodation.
