Case: Nice case with oak framed door. Case itself has a very thick oak veneer on a softwood base
Size: 35.5 inches high. 15.5 inches wide, 7 inches deep.
Movement: Built mostly in brass, this is a complex movement, basically a weight driven remontoire in which the two weights are rewound by pulses produced by the clock. Nice heavy pendulum with brass facing. A program wheel is fitted.
Notes: The clock runs from a 12 volt DC supply. It probably dates from circa 1925-30 and is of German manufacture, Up to the present I have not been able to find much information on this company but an example is pictured in a book by W.P.Hoogeveen, "Electrische
> Uurwerken" (Electric clocks) first edition 1937. This picture has enabled me to attribute my clock to Bohmeyer as the resemblance is very marked.
