1885 Harlow and Willard Bundy establish "Bundy Clock Co".

1888 "Bundy Manufacturing Co" established

1890 Production of Bundy time clocks commenced in US.

1892 John Dey deveoped the patents of Alexander Dey (of the UK) and formed "Dey Patents Co." later called "Dey Time Register Co of Syracuse" and incorporated 1904.

1894 Daniel Cooper invents the "Rochester Card Recorder" this marketed by "Willard & Frick Co. of Rochester N.Y."

1894 "Simplex" started

1900 (circa) "The Bundy Manufacturing Company" merged with "Willard & Frick Co. of Rochester N.Y." and with "Standard Time Stamp Co." and became "International Time Recording Company" (ITR).

1902 "Simplex" became "Simplex Time Recorder Co."

1907 "Dey Time Register Co of Syracuse" taken over by "International Time Recording Company"

1911 C-T-R formed by a merger of Computing Scale Co., Tabulating Machine Co. (Hollerith) and ITR.

1916 "Simplex Time Recorder Co." acquired "WH Bundy of Syracuse" and "Time Card Co." 1924 C-T-R became "International Business Machines" (IBM).

1958 IBM sells Time Division to "Simplex Time Recorder Co".
