Polished Oak case with glazed front
Size: 21.5 inches high. 12.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep.

Electric battery driven mechanism, made to PO specifications by Messrs Gillet & Johnstone. Has metal pendulum rod and heavy brass bob.
Notes:
A most attractive small master clock, not often seen, using a variant of the Hipp toggle to impulse the pendulum. The clock 46 was used on the manual switchboards, the main timing o/p being the 6 second pulse. 6 Seconds being a 1/10 of a minute, the pulse was used to drive a resettable Veeder-Root type counter on each connect circuit to time the calls. The one second was used to flash lamps.
