Oak cased Timepiece

Case:

Well polished oak veneered casework.

Size: 6.75 inches high and about 8.25 inches wide. Dial diameter approx 4.5 inches. Movement:

Movement has no visible trademark but is similar in shape (tall,tapered plates) to one of the Perivale movements shown on page 462 of Ref: CC though it has a Platform escapement.

Notes:

I think it dates from about 1930
