Case:Attractive Alabaster openwork case with some ormolu decoration.
Size:
9.5 inches high and about 7.75 inches wide. Dial diameter approx 3.25 inches.

Movement:
This interesting and most attractive clock has a pendulum in the form of a girl on a swing which moves from front to back rather than the more conventional side to side action. Farcot, the maker, developed a special form of anchor escapement for this purpose and patented it in 1862.
