Circular spun brass base covered by glass dome
Size: 11 inches high.

"400 day" type of polished brass. Movement has trademark of crescent and B on dial and backplate. This indicates that the manufacturer was Badische Uhrenfabrik of Furtwangen, Germany (info from Kenneth McCluskey, thanks).Torsion pendulum has the earlier style flat disc with two adjusting discs on top and with a crown attached to suspension by a hook.

It dates from circa 1902. Similar to example on p63 of CC Dome removed for photograph.
