Glass Dome on hardwood base
Size: 8 inches high.
Movement:
Electromagnetic remontoire with floating balance. The type was introduced in 1957 by Blech and Hettich to avoid use of a pendulum (which did not operate well when often moved by housewives.

Comment:
This type of clock was shown in the 1997 exhibition "Electrifying Time" and is well described in the exhibition catalogue.
