Massive clockwork movement with two heavy springs and heavy pendulum. This movement also drives the print mechanism.

The printer is the usual heavily built mechanism used by NTR.

Because the purpose of these clocks was to time workers on and off shift they had essentially to work very reliably and be excellent timekeepers.
