Pictures and information contributed by Peter Frederiksen Case:
Simple style of oak case with glazed window to check that the pendulum is moving and that the programming wheel is indicating the right day.

The clock would originally have had a polished finish but unfortunately was painted light gray by the previous owner.

Size: 15,7 inches high, 9,3 inches wide, 4,6 inches deep. Weight:4,5 kg

Movement:
This is a Type KAA 1032 U2. A Synchronous motor powers a remontoire mechanism which rewinds a conventional mechanical movement with an Invar steel pendulum rod and heavy cylindrical bob.

The clock has its own internal power supply and has a spring reserve of 12 hours. If the power disappears the clock keeps going on the spring reserve. If the power comes back within the 12 hours the slave dials are automatically forwarded until they are synchronized with the master clock. This clock has an integral 7 inch dial and a programming wheel with contacts to operate buzzers indicating pauses etc. The programming wheel has two programs, so other pause periods could be programmed e.g. on saturdays.

Two memory wheels move with the clock train. Two mercury switches provide pulses of alternate polarity to drive the slave dials.

Notes:
Although L.M. Ericsson is a swedish company, the clock is actually manufactured in Switzerland by Moser-Baer.
