Walnut veneer with glass panels to front door and sides. Nicely veneered backboard.

8 day, spring driven. Made by Junghans, has eight point star trademark, probably around 1900

The original high quality Vienna Regulators were extremely popular and many makers produced clocks of a similar type. These started by being weight driven, as were the originals, but later many factories produced spring driven clocks and this is one of the latter. Although of much lower quality these copies have themselves become much sought after and realise high prices.
