A novelty item and very collectable! one of the first timers made for turning electricity on and off. Use suggested by the makers was for a radio timer. This clock is described on page 419 of "Collectable Clocks" and it is mentioned that the patent noted on the dial was applied for in march 1925. Fredk. J. Gordon & Co were the manufacturers. Wander plugs were inserted in appropriate places to select the timing period
