Beige colour marble with brass mask and decorative trim
Size: 12 inches high. Bezel diameter approx 4.75 inches.
Movement:
French movement with visible escapement and brocot type suspension.

Marked S Marti et Cie, Medaille de Bronze. Strike on tape gong
Notes:
Date of manufacture was between 1867 and 1869 according to a copy letter I have seen from the head of the firm of Marti. References to French marble clocks: CC chapter 2.
